Black Eyed Peas Rocks Wireless Festival Day One

Following in the footsteps of Kanye West and Jay-Z, the Black Eyed Peas  took the helm as they headlined the first day of the Wireless Festival at Hyde Park in London on Friday [1 july]
Certainly not disappointing the 63,000 gathered concertgoers, Fergie, will.i.am, apl.de.ap and Taboo kicked things off with a bang while delving into "Rock Your Body" before proceeding forth with a set including fan favorites such as "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Just Can't Get Enough" and "Don't Stop The Party".
Sending out a tweet during the show, an overwhelmed will.i.am wrote, "I'm dj'n in the sky hovering over 60thousand people in hyde park!"
The Wireless Festival performance came after will.i.am had a bit of a scare earlier in the day - as he was rushed out of the Park Lane Hilton when the 28-story building caught fire.
Fortunately, there were no injuries resulting from the kitchen-ignited blaze - though 1,500 guests were all forced to evacuate the property.
